My good friend Kathi had told me about a "Confidence Course" in Elkhart at http://startkd.com/Star_TKD.html, is this class they teach children of all ages how to be confident entering a room full of people, confident in front of your peers, RESPECT, anti-bullying tactics, what to do if a stranger grabs you. This class was absolutely wonderful!! I have to say I personally learned some valuable parenting tips as well.

At the end of the confidence course the kids are invited to a graduation pizza party and are able to demonstrate their moves and break a board. JD went yesterday and broke his board, here he is all proud....

This winter has been one of the warmest and rainiest winters I can recall, it hasn't been what we think of for lots of snow, so when we do get the snow, we better quickly enjoy it because tomorrow it more than likely will be gone:)

Here is my little helper helping me make my favorite new cookie.....thanks to Sonia Miller!......chocolate chip, oatmeal, peanut butter cookie, oh soo yummy!!

oh, by the way, it is still winter here, the kids just like to dress like it summer all year long:)
