Summer Fun!

I hope you see this Michelle, Miss Daisy Mae is a delight and a huge hit with Ella. It's too fun to watch the 2 of them (Ella and Daisy) they both torment each other all of the time, but it is the tormenting with complete love for one another!

Happy 4th of July, 2009!

JD and McClain have been talking about fireworks for a whole year and they could not have been more excited for our little show at home with dear friends.

We have a new Baby!!

Welcome Daisy Mae!

We have a new addition to our family, her name is Daisy Mae Rupp, she is a silver standard poodle. We just adopted Daisy this past Saturday and things are gettting better by the day. This first picture below is the most recent taken on Tuesday, this was a huge milestone for the kiddos, (and they are still smiling:)

Daisy is adjusting well, she loves to be wherever we are in the house and really prefers to be by mommy, she already knows her name and is listening very well! You can already tell she is a pleasing dog, she really tries to make you happy.

Happy Fathers Day honey- When I was driving the other day with JD and Ella, I asked JD, "what is your favorite thing about Daddy?" Well, just knowing this little man, do you think he stopped talking the whole way home? So, this is just part of what he had to say.................... "I like it when he plays basketball with me, I like it when he plays football with me, I like it when we cut sticks down and we burn them, I like it when we spray weeds, I like to swing with daddy, I like it when daddy tussle with me," and last but not least, "I like it when daddy eats popcorn with me." Bean agreed on the last one too.

Thanks for being the best dad these two little ones could ask for, and thanks for being the best husband I could ask for:) I love you!

We finally got sand in our sand box, the kids haven't played in it as much as I thought they might, (I think part of it is that every time Ella is in there she tries eating sand by the spoon full, I tell her thats "yucky" but she must not agree)

We all headed back to Columbus for the Memorial tournament and made a trip to the Columbus zoo, this guy was probably 2 ft away and almost asleep, too cool.  I had a horrible glare from the glass between the two of us.

This was Memorial Day weekend, spent time at the lake with friends and then went for a bike ride on the pumpkin vine trail

this was just before Ella's tubes were put in about a month ago, she's doing pretty good, we have had 1 ear infection since then but the tubes did what they were supposed to, the Dr told us that we just need to try to keep her as well we can.

Happy 1st Birthday Ella!

Oh, what a joy!  We celebrated Miss Ella's birthday and what a day.  We were able to have friends and family here to bring in her 1st birthday.  We've had a bit of rough last few months with many ear infections, (we just don't seem to shake them), so we have an appt with the ENT next week and I am welcoming tubes at this point.  With the frequent ear infections she ceases to amaze me, her great temperament and affectionate personality she's still a joy to be around!

So what's Ella doing these days.......... well about 2 weeks ago she took her first steps and you can see improvement everyday with every step is a little more controlled, a little bittersweet........ this is the beginning of a new stage:)  She is also taking after her big brother with her ability to hit her head on anything and everything and typically always leave a mark.  She has been saying Mama & Dada, and has a love for balls and socks.  She has 4 teeth (2 top and 2 bottom) and loves to show her brother how sharp they are...... oh yes, we have a biter.

She loved the cake but didn't get too crazy, she liked the blueberries more than anything.
